Throughout Nevada and the nation, this year has been full of trials. And while there is still work to be done, we want to recognize all the goodness that we have achieved together.
Throughout the 2020 election cycle, we focused on building a strong visible constituency in demand of public policy based solutions to the addiction and mental health crisis we’re facing in our state. We were able to knock on thousands of doors and make thousands of phone calls. And thanks to the support of Nevadans standing up for recovery, we helped elect a slate of 31 recovery candidates to state and local offices.
Records were broken across the board, and our work to help build the political power of our diverse recovery community is demonstrated in the historic turnout for the 2020 election. Whether you have seen us grow from our inception, or you are joining us for the first time this year—thank you.
We’re excited about the work ahead and look forward to building on our impact in 2021 and beyond.
